HP 16510B pod connection
« on: January 19, 2015, 05:48:54 pm »
Forgive me being a total noob when it comes to logic analyzers....well...not how they work or what they are used for (o;

Sitteng next to me is a 16500A with a 16510B LA card and pod cables....missing the probe connector for hokking up the probes...

But...I have probe adapter from an old Philips logic analyzer..and the corresponding probes....whos connector fits right into the 16510B pod cable...

Now the big question...as I haven't found anything referenced in the 16510B manual....what is the pinout of the pod cable? Or is it somehow a standard most manufacturers follow?

But also I have some these units and long time ago I have looked some manual, perhaps service manual or some other where was full explanation and details...
EV of course. Cars with smoke exhaust pipes - go to museum. In Finland quite all electric power is made using nuclear, wind, solar and water.

Wises must compel the mad barbarians to stop their crimes against humanity. Where have the (strong)wises gone?

That one manual I've missed (o;

Hmm...no analyzing yet though when I supply a simple periodic signal with a Raspberry Pi....
Not sure if the card is broken or I am just too stupid using this device...seems more complicated than a LeCroy 9354AL ;-)
