Fluke 355
« on: May 19, 2022, 08:04:55 am »
Hello everyone,
Hope you are doing great.
I have a Fluke 355, but the right jaw that has the flat cable is broken just 1 mm when it comes out the inner section of the clamp. Trying to fix it I did some permanent damage to it and now it cannot be fixed anymore. I contacted Fluke for a spare jaw but they didn't agree on it saying is beyond repair. So I am asking you my fellow EE enthusiast where to find this specific part.
Any help or indication is greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much for your time.
Best Regards :-+ :-+

Well it's an expensive meter and is warranted for 3 years. So that is the reason why I asked. If it's less than 3 years just send it to Fluke. Actually I would contact Fluke for the repair any way even if it's out of warranty.

Well I contacted them and they said that Fluke doesn't repair this model, even changing a part they don't do it.
That' why I am asking and searching for a third party retailer. I also thought of using the clamp of Fluke 319, but the flat cable was very short.

Very strange! The 355 as well as the 353 are quite expensive and yet they are made in China. Perhaps Fluke rebrand them?? Anyone knows?

To be honest I don't have any idea. I didn't even managed to find a service manual. I am writing to different companies in USA, that repair fluke in hope they can give me a solution. But because I live in Albania, I doubt they will ship me the part I need.
