HP 8552A repair
« on: September 15, 2019, 07:22:21 pm »
I have a repair in the 8552A  IF Plugin for Spectrum analyzer.

Problem: there are 2 neon bulbs what are zener with 103 volts, 0,2 up to 3mA.
I am searching for replacements, it have to be z 103v with low temperature drifting.

For insiders: they are in the vertical deflection board, it`s the second from the backside.

done !

a new ZZ1000 neon stabi (= 81V) in series with a BZX55C22 (22 volts zener) delivers 102,3 Volts (22°C),
hair dryer blown to 50°C = 102,38 Volts. The spectrum analyzer likes that and is working.
