Keysight DOA
« on: December 16, 2015, 01:23:03 pm »
Sad sad

Just had delivery of my latest Keysight devices - but it arrived DOA

Right out of the bag - no lights at all. Might be simple to debug...

Anyway it is not worth repairing :) but to send out so cheap Chinese crap is not really worth the postage :)

Dear Keysight - please send better quality freebee's :) please please - it is better for your brand as well. And have a word with the new MBA in marketing who purchased those "screwdrivers"

And merry Christmas to all. ;)

What is it?  What is its power source, if its Li type it may be disabled or removed for air shipping.
Best Wishes,

I had one of those, it was dead too.

PS: But I won one of the 3014T's in the challenge, with luck it will be here Friday  ;D

jc101, I think you'll probably be too busy playing with your new scope to need another.  Congrats!

Daniel - thanks - but it is not really worth the postage as it is a P O S - and NOT up to any Agilent/Keysight Standards - but thanks for the offer. :)

Please tell marketing to ship things "approved" by the same engineers who make the rest of your gear - I love my Agilent Gear (and do not have any Keysight gear yet - apart from the cheap screwdriver)

not to let the thread run out of wack - it was a little pun - and I'm not too serious if it works or not.

But free gift's from a high end brand - should at least try to reflect part of the brand quality.

I'd prefer the value went into the products, not subsidizing free marketing gifts, but that's just me.
