Greetings,

This is the second time for this posting.

Apparently the gentleman that originally wanted it changed his mind.

Here is the deal ..

A friend of a friend of mine has an old HP 524A counter he wants to dispose
of. It is HP's first counter made back in the 50's. Many years ago it was
working but has sat in a dry garage ever since and may or may not still
work. It weighs about 80 lb and has a zillion tubes and has an ovenized
xtal.

It is located in Los Altos CA and due to size and weight is pick up only.

If no takers it will unfortunately go to the trash.

Let me know if you know of anyone interested in this piece.

It found a home and is saved from the trash heap.

The guy is looking for a service manual, if anyone has any leads.

Cool, but what a beast! Glad someone could rescue it.
