I have an old Philips/Fluke PM93 scopemeter here. The rubber holster got a crack. Trying to glue it, it started cracking in other places. It's dry like cork, and I wouldn't like to use it without the case, but I don't know how to go about it.
Trying to recondition the rubber and keep gluing more seems pointless.
If (!) I were able to find a new holster, it would probably be very old and brittle as well. Probably expensive too.
So, errr, how can I fabricate a new holster?
Designing and 3D printing an entire holster in ninjaflex would take a long time, and ninjaflex isn't cheap. cheap TPU seems too stiff for this.
I could stitch a holster from a soft material, and would like some recommendations. Maybe thick dense neoprene?
