TMK Ultra tester 160 age?

I have come into possession of a multimeter calling itself TMK ultra tester 160.. a quick googling showed that I cannot find this model listed anywhere. It does seem to be a clone (or maybe it was the original?) of the taylor 85a.

The case is made of wood, and painted a kind of army green. the connection panel appears to have been replaced but the rest of it looks original.

I'm wondering if anyone knows what year these were manufactured, or any history behind them? Even looking up the company TMK yields little information.
