How much run time is too much?

Hi,

So, I continue my search for a new to me signal generator I'm finding some have many hours on them. My contenders at the moment are R&S SMIQ ( finding one with the options I want has been limiting ) and HP ESG-D. The HP seems to be easier to find with acceptable options but the ones I'm finding have the equivalent of 10 years of run time and over a million attenuator cycles. Interesting the HP also shows reverse power protection faults, some units have a few, though I don't think this concerns me as much as the run hours.

Then I also wonder about all those caps....

How much is too much?
