Use Signal Hound TG-124A as a standalone Source??

It doesn't appear in Spike when connected to a PC, though it does enumerate as a COM port.

There is a "TGStandalone.exe" app in the Spike installation directory.  However, for me, it never connects to the TG124A, sits at 100% waiting to connect but never seems to.

I think it's awaiting for a "start" command from a com, and attenuation(level) settings.
Maybe somebody, who has a full set SA+TG, can sniff the com-usb port and IF port, for values and levels?

Hmmm, might give it another try if I get some time. 
I also have an SA, so I could sniff the USB if I get the time.
