Hi all,
I was looking at getting an oscilloscope to practise measurement and use (I am a third year apprentice). I would prefer a nice digital one but they're too expensive.
I saw this one on eBay http://tinyurl.com/hantek-OSC. I will be using it for home use and non critical measurements (accuracy is not necessary)
Has anyone used one or could recommend one for under $200 (I live in Australia so postage for large items is expensive)
Sorry,it seems Safari doesn't speak

There is a very long thread about a particular Hantek USB 'scope (the 6022BE), which, in the main, is far from complimentary!
In my opinion, you would be better off with a secondhand analog Oscilloscope.
Keep a look out for Hamfests in your area, as they often have useful test equipment for sale, including 'scopes.
Some of the earlier "standalone" DSOs which I wouldn't personally touch for my particular usage, are still superior to such things as the 6022BE, but are less common, & unfortunately are usually overpriced.
