DC Load for PSU test
« on: October 27, 2017, 05:53:52 pm »
Has anyone got any experience with one of these:

Very interested in any feedback or experience with these devices.

I have one, it works :). I used it to measure LiPo capacitance. It's a pretty basic unit, though. No chopping, no curves plotting, no constant power, etc. Just a load. 150W sounds a bit too optimistic.

I'm pretty sure there are more detailed reviews on youtube.

BTW, I just watched the review from VoltLog, seems there are fake units that look very similar to the real one. So, be sure to read comments in review: (but he reviewed a fake one).

I don't know if mine is genuine or not, but I'm happy with it. Readings are accurate on mine, no 10% errors, but I tested up to 30W (maximum for my PSU).

I've ordered one from AliExpress with good feedback.

So now we wait a month or two!

Thanks for the pointers, appreciated.
