Hacking DS2000A series scope with firmware 00.03
« on: February 13, 2015, 06:44:19 pm »
Can someone please help me with this? I have done all I can that I can comprehend and have had no luck. I have all the programs that are mentioned in most of the posts. I can connect to my scope through the LAN and also find it through USB. However, I can not get the modified firmware to load due to the newer one on my scope. I have firmware 00.03.00 SP1 and Hardware version 2.0

Is there anyone who knows how this can be accomplished?

Thank you in advance!!!

I have been trying to figure out this scpi thing and have successfully sent and read the data through the interface. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get this data to a .bin file. I have tried to export history data to a csv file and that is a failure as no keys exist in the file.

I am biting at the bit to get this to work.

I have updated my DS2072A and the only output file I could obtain had a .scpi attribute.  However rigup obtained keys from this and I updated my scope and had all the installed updates.
