Pics?
Chinglish poetry: In the hot summer. In the car ran full steam. It tastes strange. For this worry? With this fan will bring you a cool summer. Suitable for all kinds of cars. Agricultural vehicles. Van. Tricycle.

Looks like a decent scope. What are you going to do with it?

Congrats on your scope!

Here are some videos on the 1477 in case you haven't already seen them:

The guy who made these might have some more on your model.  Enjoy.

You're going to have LOTS of fun. :)

I bought a new B&K Precision 1535A dual-trace 35MHz scope back in 1983 or so. The only trouble I ever had with it was some trace noise when switching vertical settings after 10 or 15 years. It's currently on loan to a pair of home-schooled twins -- actually, they're in college now, studying computer engineering. Still going strong, as far as I know.

I eventually bought a used Tek 7834 and a bunch of plug-ins, because I was a bit of a gear-head. But, frankly, the simple B&K analog scope was more fun to use, and more useful for the stuff I actually did (as opposed to daydreaming about). And you can't argue with 30 years of reliable service!

ENJOY! There is nothing quite like owning your first ancient analogue 'scope.  :-+

My first one was an ancient Telequipment D51 I paid 20 notes for back in 1989. It had some nice ECC83 valves and stuff like that, all glowing in good health.

It had a trigger fault. I managed to get a service manual from one of the tech guys in my college, and then used that and actually used the scope to probe and diagnose itself and found a shorted diode. Worked a treat after replacing with a 1N4148. I gave that 'scope away to a friend but I think it is wasted on him.
