Among the maybe six meters of that heritage that I've got (across all models), there was one with a somewhat wonky selector switch. Some cleaning and careful reassembly sorted this. I guess you get what you pay for... But at least, at the price point, the voltage and ohms accuracy is amazing. I consider these as disposable meters that I put in places where I might eventually need a meter so I won't have to go and fetch a good one (car, garage, parent's place and the like)...
