Promax OD-444, information?

Hi, I want to buy an oscilloscope, and where I live there aren't many of them, and the only ones are at very high prices. The other day I saw a Hameg 20mhz for 100€, when in other countries I've seen it for 20 bucks. Today I found a Promax OD-444 40mhz dual channel scope + Signal generator, also from promax, model GF1000C for 100€, And I think I will buy it, but the thing is at a 2 hour drive.
I tried to find some information about the Promax OD-444 and signal generator GF1000C but I couldn't find anything, surprising... Does anyone have some information about this equipment? Thanks

Do you have a picture of the one being sold?


While there's a pretty good knowledge base here, there's also a TON of rebadging of test equipment, so it could very well be that you're not finding any information on the scope because it's obscure rebadge of an otherwise fairly standard or widespread instrument.

If you haven't checked, websites with classified listings (like craigslist in the states) can have some bits of equipment, and if there are any HAM or other electronics related clubs or meetings nearby, they could have some good leads on finding some used equipment.
