Nothing wrong with the FY6900,  for the money its a decent 60Mhz arb. signal generator and not many years ago, I saw it as one of the best-bang for the buck,   -as you do get a lot of signals & input abilities, and being able to control it with a PC or make your own signals, - for a person on a  strictbudget with a hobby based general usecase..I reckon the FY6900 makes good sense, as long as you have the price in mind and take it for what it.. A very cheap DDS arb signal generator.
Alternatively, there are the Alibaba specials like the FY6900-60M  (manufactured under any number of made up "brand names") for much less -- $150-180 or so
The FY6900/60Mhz version' seems to be around 110 to 120 USD atm (with incl. EU VAT 20%-25%) from sources like Banggood, though they were a tad cheaper, at least when i picked up my unit (75 USD three years back when Banggood cleared stock in EU) for the amount, you do get a lot of signals, and I like that I can just attach a power bank for many usecases or even use the scope's USB socket.
There is also an 80Mhz and a 100Mhz version nowadays.
Just dont overpay for it., as then there are other models that starts to make more sense.
