Taking apart an Owon XDM3051, I was surprised to find an almost identical acquisition board compared to the Siglent SDM3055.
Was this some kind of joint development? Or did they shop at the same source? Who knows.

It's funny to see how Owon owonised it with some of their own components and their standard case and interface.
Owon puts the digital brain behind the front panel and uses a separate interface board. Siglent combines the two.

The voltage reference used is a MAX6325CSA. The fan is noisy and I will replace it or remove it.

Did you go ahead with replacing/removing the fan? If so, I'd be really interested to hear about your findings. Thanks a lot!
