Fluke T6-1000 PRO

Hey, has anyone used the pro version just got released ?

Also are all these metres made in china and ok to purchase from there online ? thought all Fluke MM are made in the USA.

Yes, it's pretty good meter.  It's not really that new. Newest meter with fieldsense technology is 378FC.

All T6 PRO meters, as well as T5 and T6 are made in USA right now. (at least all meters for US market, not sure about Australia.)

Is all meters in Australia are made in China? Have you checked with your local distributor first? If answer is Yes to both questions, then you can probably use package-forwarding companies for that.

Just keep in mind that for different countries meters can be sold with different type of test leads. For example US meters are having flat test leads because power outlet socket is flat (Australian can be round, but i'm not 100% sure)

The probe tips attach to the leads using standard 4mm shrouded plugs/sockets, so that shouldn't be a problem.

Sorry I can't help with an Aussie supplier though.   :-//

Grey market meters work just fine, they're the same meter, but bear in mind that if it's not purchased from an Australian distributor, Fluke Australia will not honour the warranty if it breaks. They'll tell you to send it to the country you purchased from.
