I recently picked up a used Fluke 867B and the previous owner was nice enough to install a new replacement battery made by Cameron Sino. Only problem is: It doesn't charge!
Can anyone with this meter and a working battery check if they're able to measure anything on the 'C' battery terminal? From what I can tell it seems to be open circuit. The service manual says the charging circuit in the meter is connected to a current limited 15V internal supply, and I was able to verify the meter does put out 15V on the C contact. I was able to flow about 100mA through a 150 ohm resistor, too, so I think the charging circuitry is OK.
Also, if anyone has replaced their 867/3 battery, which brand did you use? They all look like they come from the same factory in China.
