Is this an App for CNX Modules?
It says you need an invitation code to register it.

I also saw it listed as Fluke Elektra here which shows a screen shot of

"A3000 ........... Connect"

http://appalerts.com/apps/fluke-elektra/

"Examples of what you can do in Fluke Elektra include the following:
- Connect wirelessly with Fluke tools
- Save and Email measurements, even graphs
- Create equipment records, and trend measurements on that equipment
- Share live measurements with your team
Note: Fluke Elektra works without any Fluke tools. However, to use all the features of Fluke Elektra you need access to Fluke wireless tools."

Fluke CONNECT was officially launched today. So you can download it today for free. Works with a new form of the CNX meter and modules or with an adapter the Fluke 289. FlukeConnect.com

Thanks, so if you would like the CNX meters to work with the app vs a PC they are different?
Looks like "FC" vs "CNX"
In other words the CNX meters will not work with the App?

Correct. The new Connect system is designed to work with the new version of the CNX meters. These new models use Bluetooth LE instead of Fluke's previous proprietary RF system.
I just got a new set of meters to try out. The 289 bluetooth dongle isn't ready just yet, but is imminent.

Thanks guys I see there is some more info coming out about them. Looking forward to see more as you guys get the time. Evidently I wasn't the only one who was looking for the app interface vs the PC for this to come out so soon after the CNX. One thing I'd like to see in future versions would be the ability to trend and view multiple FC devices on the same graph.

Guys, I called Fluke the other day about the Live Share feature and was curious about the type of wireless connection it uses. I figure it uses the internet via wifi or the data connection on your device not the phone part of your phone.  Is that correct? Maybe I was misunderstood but he said it was the phone.

I ordered two FC modules
V3000 FC and V3001 FC

Should be getting the V3001 FC tomorrow but they didn't have the 3000
Not real clear when it's coming either.
The dealer said Fluke pulled all their V3000 FC stock for some reason.

In case someone is thinking about getting some of these you might want to check if your device is compatible.
It looks like you need Bluetooth 4.0 for connection so iPhone 4 or older iPads/iPods will not work even if they have Bluetooth.
So devices iPhone 4s, 3rd Gen iPad and 5th Gen iPod or newer. FWIW I didn't see that listed anywhere.
