Recently my BM235 meter has started flashing the backlight continuously when in Continuity Mode - except when the probes are shorted. It doesn't matter whether the backlight-on mode has been chosen, the backlight just keeps flashing until the probes are shorted, and then starts again once the probes are not shorted. I was going to upload a video but it doesn't look like that is supported on the forum.

I did a quick search here in the forum but was unable to find anyone else who had a similar problem.

Does anyone have any suggestions before I open it up and have a look?

TIA.

No, battery is fine. Thanks for the suggestion though.
