Where Can a Guy Find a Low Tolerance Inductor?

I have good and cheap capacitance standards, like 0.05% tolerance, and resistors at 0.01%, but I can't seem to find an inductor for less than $60.

Any suggestions? The cheapest currently on eBay are $60 and don't even quote a tolerance.

Thanks,

There are some on ebay from time to time, but they usually start at $400

I had the same challenge a few years back and I made my own.
Bought a few temperature stable toroidal cores and wounded them myself with good quality insulated copper wire.
Then I had then certified at a calibration lab.

They turned out to be extremely stable in regards to inductance, even with changing temperatures.
Using a toroidal core is the only way, that I found to get them stable and this way, you can even mount
the inductor in an aluminum housing, without influencing the inductance at all.

There are 3 kinds of people in this world, those who can count and those who can not.

how many ppm TCL (temp co induc) did you get with this home technology

I can help with a Keysight E4990A if anyone wants to test their inductor.
