Hello! my name is Darwin and I am a 15 year old hobbyist from Murica! Recently I've been inspired to take up electronics by my dad who works with RF stuff. So I did what everyone does, get a old analogue scope off Ebay, and buy everything in sight with the word Arduno on it.
And that was fine for a bit but then i started having problems with my scope, And after spending a great deal of time on a project trying to make a power supply I then blew it up within an HOUR of having it finished by screwing around with some nichrome wire and non adequate heat sinks.
So i thought it was time to get some more reliable gear so the first thing i got was a DS1054Z (obviously) after watching everyone on the internet say it was the best bang for the buck you can get. But when it comes to getting a power supply i came across a problem. There really is not a obvious choice to go for, and I don't have 500$ to spend. I stumbled across this.
https://www.circuitspecialists.com/bench-power-supply-csi3005xiii.html I was thinking about getting it but i wanted to ask here because i am in no way a expert in this sort of stuff so i don't know if this one is "Quality" or not. Should i go for this one? Or is there a better deal that i missed somewhere. Thanks in advance!
