If they can interleave ADCs, they shouldn't have any problem interleaving external RAM.  Adding a few extra RAM chips wouldn't add that much cost.  Maybe you've looked at the board, but I would guess layout would be the only believable bottleneck with having to get all of those extra traces to and from the FPGA.  I think it's not something they really cared that much about, just like with the firmware that I've read complaints about.

If it is so easy everyone do it.

It is extremely easy as long as do not need do it in practice in real life with real components and with all manufacturing realities.

Also, Owon do not use this cheapiest way, interleaved "simply method"  ADC's.  It use better not interleaved ADC system.

Also Interleaved system can be good but not so that take cheapest slow ADC and drop these to PCB and then some poor clocking system.

Can you explain why Hantek do not have full speed deep capture memory? There is only maximum 125MSa/s in one ADC and or Rigol, there is maximum 100MSa/s in one ADC, why they still have slow memory, why they do not interleave this memory also. (  :)   )

Maybe it is better to first design it and think all things what are related this... then need not tell in every next phases....oops I forget this...  then next problem... and agen oops... I forget this... and soon it can find that "I'm not interesting" or find that need do lot of lab works and also price have jumped to exponential rising curve. Well it is not so simple.

It can do, but after then all need do different and sorry but it is not cheap.

maybe it can think that it is easy to copy 10000 dollar RTO to 150 dollar scope. No way.

can you send this 3.2MSa/s scope  HW principle to me so that there is also full speed deep 10M or 100M memory with acceptable speed in display refresh rate and/or waveforms/s rate. Even if it is conventional DSO principle. Even better if it is DPO.
How you handle this splitted memory, with what kind of bus and processing system and also do other things. I want see it on the paper. Tell me even some practical principle what is also easy to implement to cheap production.

BEV of course. Cars with smoke exhaust pipes - go to museum. In Finland quite all electric power is made using nuclear, wind, solar and water.

Wises must compel the mad barbarians to stop their crimes against humanity. Where have the (strong)wises gone?

I'm guessing English isn't your first language, but I can't tell if you're serious on wanting information on memory interleaving or being facetious.

Sure, if they want to pay me, I'll design it for them, but I assume they decided it wasn't worth having/paying for the R&D and cut their costs.  As soon as FPGAs like the Kintex-7 become widely available (and cheap enough), we won't even have to worry about this because FPGAs will have megabytes of RAM onboard.  Do you happen to know what ADC(s) and FPGA are in the scope?

As we know tchnology develop fast.

I do not know what is ADC in 3.2GSa/s version. (I have not seen any these models in real life. Who have? )

7102 have ADC08D500 and 8102 and 8202 have ADC08D1000 (but not original, they are functionally identical clones, made by RuiFeng).

I think I'll buy this scope (as anyone experience with develissimo?) ...

I just placed an order at develissimo for an Owon MSO7102TD and their team was very friendly and patient with my plethora of questions. I look forward to the delivery next week.

To follow up on this, my experience with develissimo was very positive. As mentioned, they were very patient and they even provided me with the tracking number of _their_ shipment from China to Austria. Within about two hours after the package arrived at their shop, my oscilloscope had been tested and was on its way to Germany. After considerable delays at DHL (the package sat 6 1/2 days in the DHL distribution center in Staufenberg), the MSO7102TD is now sitting happily on my desk.

I'd review the details on the scope itself, but I'm still a beginner, so I can't provide much more information than what's already in the spec sheets. I can say that my colleague that has a degree in electrical engineering is thoroughly jealous, though. ;-)

So, yes, I'd order from develissimo again.

After arrive two hours and shipped forward and in this time tested.  Wow.
We do here 72hour burn in and after then also full tests in lab with measurements using perfect signal sources so that we can also check accuracy is ok. But shut on and off test is also more than nothing and someone may call also it as "test".

If you do some kind of introduction / review about this model, please open new thread for it becouse MSO serie is totally different as SDS serie!

It is important to avoid confusion, especially since the model number is the same 7102.
