To maintain some control over the code. There is another thread that is even more restrictive.

Why is the NZ distributor for Siglent giving out the 'code' to another company selling the same thing.. I've bought stuff from Saelig before and they have been great.. It matters little what you think or deduce from what you have seen.

When something went down between TE and Siglent America and Saelig chose to market Siglent I naturally supported their decision. At that time EEVblog members were looking for access to Siglent products and Saelig also chose to match TE's EEVblog member's discount.

Saelig and I operate in 2 quite different timezones and my small contribution allows members outside Saelig's business hours to get the discount code in a timely manner.
We have NO other private or business relationship. Period.
