Hi, I have an R&S ETC and I would like to know how to find out the key to unlock the K240 option for DVBT-2 with the hardware already installed, how can I do it since it can no longer be purchased? Thank you.

An original key for the ETC in my possession is: 066379365018881348971792051684 relating to the K140 option. In the results of main.c this type of key does not appear but only 10 numbers. How to solve the problem for the K240 always with 30 numbers?

I have a PR200 with the Panorama Scan and Time Domain options installed, I can provide firmware, software, documentation(Full manual, pretty sure its 600 pages or something), etc. to anyone who would like to give cracking the option encryption a shot. I would imagine this encryption is still being used on the latest devices, so it may be worthwhile to look into.

The firmware is just an .itb file that can be extracted in HexWalk leaving you with a .squashfs archive which I assume is what has the good stuff in it, a 10MB "C0" file, and an 83.8MB C0.gz file.

Poked around in the .squashfs file for a bit, to say it's intimidating is an understatement. Ended up finding the lines of code where it calls openssl/crypto when you go to type in the option key, but I have no idea where to go from there.

As the PR200 is Rohde's latest portable receiver, I cannot provide option keys for security reasons.

I want to share with you my key generator for SMx (SME, SMT, SMP) and SMIQ signal generators. It can generate keys for software options and factory installation keys (aka signal generator personality). The output is a  6 digit number. Please don't laugh at the used encryption method  :-DD

How to use it:
Edit the c-file and add your serial number, SMIQ flag. See comment "UPDATE below variables"
Compile with: gcc -o SMx SMx.c
Run with: ./SMx
Profit

This key generator has been tested with SME and SMIQ generators.

Once a key has been entered I haven't found a way on how to remove it, but based on the firmware it's possible to remove installed keys and options. If somebody knows how, please share the procedure.
It might be possible that this generator could generate as well keys for other instruments from the same era, but this has not been further explored yet.

HI,
I have an FSH3.23 I would like to calibrate the reference at 10MHz.
It seems to be possible only with specific software.

I see that among the options that can be enabled there is also this:
Cal. Allowed (k15)

Would it be possible to proceed with the calibration manually with this option?

If you have already installed it, can you check?
Or do you have any idea what software you can use to perform the calibration
Thank you

Hi,
I managed to enable all available options, but unfortunately this problem happened.
The span steps are incorrect, and the up and down keys are reversed.

It already had firmware version 14.0, I tried to update again, but unfortunately it didn't solve the problem.

Some parameters seem to have been compromised.

I attach a short video to help me understand the problem.

I have already tried all the resets possible but I haven't solved the problem.

Now I would like to try removing the options but it doesn't seem feasible.

Do you have any ideas?
Thank you

And another request for option codes for SMU200A - does anybody have a keygen? Also looking for the calibration software, if anybody has a link I'd be grateful!

Just as a hint,

The options for the SME, SME32;33;36 , as well as SME42;43;46 are not software options, but change the device type!
(e.g. an SME-02 becomes an SME-32, an SME-03 -> SME-33 etc.)
So please do not use them, you will make your device almost unusable!

in case someone was so hasty, the keys are entered in Prot-Level3, uninstalling the keys worked for me by entering them again in Prot-Level2.
The SME-B41 to B43 options require the SME-B12 option in addition to the SME-B11 option.

There is no public link for FSHView, one has to ask RnS.
I can send 14.20 via eMail if necessary.

There are basically three software packages for FSH (all free of charge)

- FSH3/6 uses the FSHView Software
- FSH4/8/up can use either the FSH4View Software or the newer InstrumentView software

So unless you're running an FSH3/6, you can download the software directly from the R&S website

https://www.rohde-schwarz.com/software/fsh/

I have FSHView V13.12 from a colleague of mine if anyone needs it.

FSHView_V1420_setup.exe

https://mega.nz/file/zhY0gbJC#Bu-i3R71GKtG8LbKq4M-O9g96m1KuGGTUUSMFhrzffo

this is for the old FSH. for the new FSH - all versions at first google links.

This is the one I'm looking for, thanks! I have an old FSH3 that I have been playing around with, and another in pieces with damaged RF input melf resistors and non-functioning display I have yet to track down replacements for.

Hello, I have an R&S FSL3 Spectrum Analyzer.

Has anyone found a keygen generator for the box?
