Hi Joy,
It's great to see a shop in the UK also offering discounts for EEVBlog members. I know their is a lot of members in the UK.
Most of the members asking for the discount code to tEquiptment in this thread are US base customers and you may be correct about the exchange rate and international shipping costing US based customers more.
I believe the EEVBlog is welcomed community for hobbiest, professional and sellers.,it's also a good way to communicate with your customers if they participate on the EEVBlog.
But if I may make a suggestion, you may want to open up a sales thread for your store were you can interact with customers and promote sales in that thread. Posting in this thread or possible some other threads may not do you any good and becomes off topic. For example the only people that monitor this thread and receive notifications are mostly the people the volunteered to give out the discount code for tEquiptment.
People do post in the thread asking for the discount code, but once they get the code they don't come back that often and post anything else in this thread. They received the code from the volunteers, made the purchase at tEquiptment and probably the reason they asked for the discount code to begin wit and make their purchase. But once they receive the code they don't have any reason to monitor or receive notifications in this thread.
Starting a sales thread for your store would probably benefit you more. And maybe being up front on what percentage of a discount you offer to EEVBlog members woould also help.
A good expample of another store that has a sales thread would be
https://www.eevblog.com/forum/buysellwanted/franky's-sales-thread/It should be posted under the buy, sell, wanted part of the forum.
