Thank you. I assume they share the same board and the same main-firmware and that the display-board(-firmware) and maybe something in the memory of the main-board memory, that is not covered by that update, differs. But we will know more, when you find the time to look inside.

You might ask aliexpress for a fix for the list bug for the 4510. I would bet that you get the same data, we've already seen.

Edit: It´s a ET44 V1.7 board from 2022, board version from my ET4410 is V1.6 from 2021.

Now that I know how to do it, it went quickly...
I received the update tool with the new firmware and copied the folder to the desktop.
Then I proceeded as follows:
-copied MSCOMM32.OCX and pasted it into the updatetool folder.
-Pressed the Windows key+X, then selected Powershell (Administrator).
-Changed to the updatetool folder and entered "regsvr32 MSCOMM.OCX".
-Powershell terminated.
-In the Device Manager, set the COM port settings to 19200 baud.
-Also set to 19200 baud on the ET4510 using the "Set" button.
-Start update tool, load hex file, set COM port.
-Set to and then switched the ET4510 off and on again.
-The flash process starts, after 100% the ET4510 restarts itself.

Is it still in Chinese

Two more things....
Before using the LIST function, you should make sure that the measuring speed is set to SLOW.
If it is set to FAST, you have almost the same effect as with the bug before, quasi random values are listed.
There is no question that it was a bug that was fixed with the new firmware.
With the old firmware, the "Sequence" mode did not work properly (it always ran through instead of stopping after the 10th measuring point).

That was the answer from East Tester a few days ago when I asked them and only had the ET4410.
Yesterday I described the problem with the ET4510 and got an answer the morning after - that's very commendable.
This gives me hope for a possible support of my new toy from East Tester, which is already on its way and could replace the two ET44/4510.

This thread isn't that big that you can't have time for it...
But I just about remember, it must be the RS232 port.

I've also observed doing sweeps with SCPI, that the first value received after switching parameters was pretty useless.
