How did you manage that, is there a screenshot function?

RTFM.....Again. :P

But I think I'll take an extra stick for it, because at the moment every picture is overwritten by the last one.
I also don't necessarily need to have the system message at the bottom left.
But at least it works rudimentarily. ;)

Edit:
Interesting, I couldn't upload it from the stick, the forum software was complaining.
Although .png ending, the image was over 1MB in size....
Then I “edited” it (just opened it with Paint) and saved it again.
And lo and behold, only a few kB left...

30 seconds to take a screenshot???

Is it scanning 1 pixel at a time? 🤣

It's not that long after all... ;)
But it could be much shorter if such a picture wasn't over 1MB in size.
I think I need to talk to the guys again, because it doesn't matter what I do, I only ever get the picture from the measurement display, nothing else.
But maybe Dwaine knows how to do it properly.

I hated the tweezers that came with the DE5000, so I killed them and used the connector to make kelvin clips instead.

I 100% agree that people should have both smart tweezers and an alternate LCR meter.

Agree, those tweezers are very poor, unfortunately we have them too :P

We don't use Tweezers of any type often, much prefer the Bench Type LCR Meter SMD fixtures with better repeatability, however if we must measure SMD devices on a PCB then Tweezers are a must!!

One could mate the type that Tonghui uses in the TH26009B and things would be much better, altho not sure where you could find them cheaply, as the TH26009B are ~$180.

Yeah, they cost as much or more than smart tweezers. The best price I found for them was $118, but haven't ordered them yet because I don't know if they're legit...and I don't really need them. 😉

They are good tweezers and have a BW of 15MHz, well beyond any of the complete type tweezers we're familiar with.

We've used them with our IM3536 to 8MHz, and happy with results/performance, but then gain they are tweezers and we prefer SMD LCR fixtures.

I wouldn't trust any source that's not a Tonghui certified source, as you don't know what you are getting. They may even say Tonghui with Logo, but who knows where they've been or could be total OEM rejects, or complete counterfeit.

Personally, I have no doubt that Sourcetronic's products originate 1:1 from TongHui.
I could find out, but I don't see the point.
Either way, I will buy Sourcetronic accessories for my ET35, even if they are a bit more expensive.
You can still use them for another device, e.g. for an R&S LCX (cough...)... ;)

I would also rather give Sourcetronic my money instead of Tonghui. I don't trust Tonghui as a direct source either. 😉

I would love an R&S LCX. I bet those are sweeeet.

Hi,

Quote
Attached screen of the version numbers.
How did you manage that, is there a screenshot function?

Yep there is a screenshot save.   Hit the save button and then the screenshot menu option.   It saves the screenshots as png file.

Can you share the firmware update?
