DSOX2012A hackable ?

I am planning to buy the scope Keysight DSOX2012A 100MHz

I know Dave has video of hacking DSOX1000 series for higher bandwidth. I also searched in the forum if anyone has done the same for 2000 series. But I was unable to find any.

I mainly need to hack it for  the following option -

Memory upgrade

Agilent / Keysight DSOX2000 series was introduced in 2011. It is seven years old now. Wait till March 2018 or so. They might be releasing a new scope...

Yeah - but hacking will probably not possible ......
Anyway, as I already wrote in the other thread:
I would advice not to purchase one: The DSOX2000 series does not allow serial protocol analysis on the digital channels (only analogue channels) and with only two analogue channels you will be stucked quickly (e.g. with a simple SPI protocol).

Better get a 2-channel 3000-series scope (they allow protocol analysis on digital channels) or go for the 4-channel version of a DSOX2000 series scope.
