PM3320A Control and Programming

Users of the Philips/Fluke PM3320A with IEEE?RS232 Option:

I am curious how you are using the IEEE/RS232 option. Are you using it for instrument control, or for data capture, or for both? Are you using the IEEE interface, or RS232 interface? If you're using the IEEE interface, how are you connecting (interface hardware/software)?

I think it would be interesting to share experiences and expand resources for this instrument...

I reached the point that I have control over the PM3320A via the RS232 at a baudrate of 19k2 via the programming language Mathematica.
To investigate if a faster transfer of data can be obtained I added an IEEE488 interface of Prologix.
This last interface is successfully applied for the PM3384B, PM5193 and  PM2535, but it failed  for the PM3320A.
The cause is unknown; might be a failure in the IEEE-interface of the PM3320A, a wrong interpretation of the required commands or missing information in the description of the IEEE-interface of the PM3320A. :-BROKE

I got both interfaces, IEEE and RS232, running for the PM3320A under Mathematica 13.
Really impressive to get the pictures on a PC screen, two channels, 2048 time-steps and 10 bits wide  :-+
An oscilloscope means bright eyes for an electrical engineer and the PM3320A is high class, even 35 years after production.
