I am working on a new extended version of the screen capture tool. The curve/trace data should also be transferred and displayed. At the moment only USB-TMC devices are supported with installed WinUSB drivers. There will only be one Windows version, but 32 and 64 bit.
There will be configuration files for the different devices. I'm not sure how all this will work yet.

Peter:
Thank you again for your work making this software. It's
by far the best for making GIFs like this which I think are sometimes the best way to convey information. Like this, the rise in noise level over a 1 hour period of a DC-DC converter as the battery input drains:
FYI, I make these using your software and then some basic built-in features in GIMP.
The reason this one looks so smooth is because it's a long time average. But on my machine, with my scope, if I select
fastest then it will grab something like 3.3 frames per second but it will limit the Measure display, the FFT (if selected), the math (if selected) etc. The display just doesn't update correctly. But I suspect if I could choose
3fps or
2fps instead, I would get this information updated and have nicer smooth updates.
I use the old software on Linux through wine (32-bit wine "chroot" configuration). It works great. Both LAN and USB work. There are no bugs. USB is much faster. I would be happy to formalize the steps needed to make it work so that you could display the instructions and claim support for Linux (if you even care to).
Do you ever plan to open source on these tools?
