An old but fully working HP 5371A (Freq & Time Interval Analyser) needed its back up battery (on board A7) replaced, apart from me nearly having a hernia lifting it off the shelf I thought I would take some photos along the way.
The touch I like was the screws holding the RF shielding in place not only have a knurled head (so you don't have to use a screwdriver) but also the nuts into which they screw are fully retained, I love the labelling on the covers as well.
Check out the RF finger stock, in between the two RF covers.
The back up battery does suck quite a bit of juice nearly 1/2 mA, I think I will be back in there pretty soon.
