fluke 123 scope meter vs fluke 88 v multimeter suggestion
« on: April 03, 2017, 10:19:39 am »
hello everyone.

just thinking to buy a fluke.
getting a used fluke 123 scope meter and 2 option is to buy a new fluke 88v millimeter.

the fluke 123 is old unit. but its a dual channel and scope.

does the fluke 123 still better than the 88v in terms of accuracy and functions.

need suggestion.

thank u.

need suggestion.
What do you want to use it for?
They're different instruments that have some functions in common.
What non-common functions do you need?

How did you come to these two options?
Why a scopemeter and why an automotive multimeter?

You already have the 123 scopemeter?

They could be be used but they're not that comparable.

What do you value?
The scope? Dual channels? Portability? Battery life? Builtin current measurement?

Then the 88V (or other regular multimeter) wins.
