I could never find a service manual, but I did fix one by replacing Q14, the output PNP transistor. It was shorted out. I replaced it with:
https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/central-semiconductor-corp/2N2905A/2N2905ACS-ND/48068521. Check the resistance between the collector and the emitter (opposite pins). Should be relatively high. Mine was shorted to 7 ohms.
2. Remove the part. Loosen the heatsink by wedging a screwdriver in the split to release the clamping force.
3. Add a thin layer of thermal compound and slip the new part in. Remove the screwdriver to clamp in on the transistor.
4. Make sure to install the plastic spacer or the case will short out to the tracks.
5. Reinstall the new part.
Mine worked right away. No other parts seemed to be damaged.
