Hi All,
I am currently working on a couple of these Datron 1062 multimeters, one of them is the LS101 version.
I intended to grab all the EPROM data from both units to back them up but found that the EPROM from the IEEE of the LS101 is reading as completely empty, FF all the way through, it seems that one is dead.
I already grabbed the firmware from the other datron 1061 thread, but as the IEEE and Digital is from a different year (and model) I am not sure if I can rely on it.
My IEEE EPROM is part number: 290133A-19B (dated 5-8-85), I am hoping to get the EPROM bin file from someone with the same part number.
Both of the units I picked up look to have been messed with and used as parts swap units from what I can tell, I am not sure if the IEEE EPROM's are even the correct ones to match the Digital Board.
My 1062 (non LS) has these EPROMs: Digital PCB M35: 290129A-19B, M30:290128A-19B, M18:290127A-19B (all dated 8-14-85) and the IEEE PCB M3:290070A-S131 (I think, its hard to read) (dated 4-22-86), perhaps someone can tell me if the IEEE is OK with the digital ones (I know that they have to be a matching set).
My LS101 has these EPROMs: Digital PCB M35: 290129A-19B, M30:290128A-19B, M18:290127A-19B (all dated 8-15-85, just 1 day different to my other unit!) and the IEEE PCB M3:290133A-19B (dated 5-8-85) , perhaps someone can tell me if the IEEE is OK with the digital ones (I know that they have to be a matching set).
I am doing videos on the repair of both of these units, I have already fixed a few problems on them both, but neither are working yet.
I will be happy to share these EPROM files once I am sure that they are OK, at this stage I actually don't even know if they are corrupted.
