Hi,

Is it possible to enter your own custom math function on the DS1054Z? I am at a loss having looked through the menus, but they are a labyrinth and sometimes I get lost in there.

example: I want to enter a function to show dB gain between Ch1 and Ch2 (10×log (CH2 / CH1)).

Any help, please?

No.

But you should be able to calculate Log (CH1/CH2), without the factor of 10. Use the "fx Operation" to select A/B as the function argument, with A=CH1 and B=CH2; then use Log as the main Math function. See chapter 6 of the manual (August 2016 edition).
