Looking for ROM image of Fluke 8860A control board
« on: November 19, 2023, 06:41:19 pm »
Hi,
I'm working on a Fluek 8860A benchtop multimeter and based on the tests, it very much looks like a case of bit-rot in the control board (A3 board) ROM (U9). I have not been able to locate a ROM image at the usual places, so if anyone has or willing to make a dump of this ROM, it would be a great help.

To answer my own question. After further examination it turned out that the port expander was faulty (it handles memory chip select also) and the ROM is ok. So attached is the ROM image in Intel hex format.
