Hi All

After following a previous message on the group regarding a failure of a drive in a Rohde and Schwarz FSP40.

I have a FSP40 which when boots saying, I have a missing file (Windows boot-up).  I took the top off and I have a Compact Flash drive with the following information on it.

Part No. 1303.0417.07, Flash Disk for R&S FSP with Windows XP.

Can I purchase a standard compact flash drive?  Is it a 32GB one?

Also Is the build the same ISO available for download on this site?  From K04BB's website. http://www.ko4bb.com/getsimple/index.php?id=manuals&dir=Rohde_Schwarz/Rohde_Schwarz_FSP?

Update

Hi have tried using the image on this original message, I am using a USB stick as the boot device with the image on.  But I get a blue screen when it boots, " A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer"

how did you extract this iso ??    power iso, ultra iso  have settings for boot device iso sources ...

or you could re-install from scratch  if you have  mobo bios access and put an bootable device like an cd-rom

recover the missing drivers afterwards

Hi

I used Rufus to build the USB stick, when you say install from scratch. I could use a CDROM drive and build the Embedded Windows OS.  But I am not sure what version and where to get it from?  I have the original Compact Flash drive which I hope has the calibration data on it ok.  Can the firmware still be download from a site for the build on a fresh version of embedded XP.
