Cheap scopemeter using DSO112 and UT139C
« on: June 30, 2015, 08:05:42 pm »
About $100 for both meters.  The meters are held together with a rubber band.

Measuring terrible ripple from a buck converter ( 1.2 vpp on 3.3 vdc).

The DSO112 agrees with the Rigol, but the Rigol shows a high freq component that does not show up on the DSO112 (due to bandwidth).  Both are using alligator clips.  Really bummed over the buck, I ordered 5 more before I hooked up to the scopes.  Probably will start a post on the buck (a big one with lots of ripple).  My small bucks have little ripple.

I like the DSO112, I use it more than the Rigol because it is so easy (limited settings).  But I am not using it for rockets.
