These scopes are now present on Rigol EU website. http://www.rigol.eu/products/digital-oscilloscopes/ds1000Z/ But there is only a quick guide, not a full user manual yet.

Here is the datasheet, i had to compress it. Well, the signal generator is better than in my DSOX2002A. Rigol has always had quite good hardware.

When are these going to be available?
For example http://www.batronix.com just lists >21 days - that could mean many months??

Well according to John at Emona.com.au, 3-4weeks, and that was 2 weeks ago (Yes I know I could have just said in a week but hay, I like waffles of all types including the talking type ).

Needless to say, I placed an order for one. Now waiting. Ooh exciting times.

blah, I'm in Europe and asking for a quote through http://www.eu.rigolna.com redirects the rfq to my local distributor who says they could deliver in 7-9 weeks

I just received my DS1074z today (in California). Purchased from Tequipment.

Edit: This is the DS1074Z, not the Z-s. I don't know if availability is different for the -S models.

Hello,
I intend to buy this dso (DS1104Z-s).
I have read the user manual, but I'm not sure if I can record a waveform from an anlog input channel and playback it with the waveform output.
Does anyone have done that with this kind of equipment?

From the user manual it is hard to say. You musr try it at your local shop...

I will try when I receive it, it's not a mandatory feature for me, but it would be nice to simulate real inputs.
If someone is interested, I will post the result.
