Camera option for AmScope binocular scope

I have an Amscope SM-3TY-54S-10M that I bought a few years back off of eBay. I absolutely love the scope.

The scope came with a camera, and although the scope optics themselves are really good, the camera is total junk. The images are almost unusable. I started browsing the various cameras available for these units, and the number of choices is overwhelming. Does anyone have any experience with this and could perhaps recommend some options? I am open to creative solutions such as attaching a DSLR (although I'd have to buy that, so it would need to be a cheap DSLR).
