Broke fan collet for 2465 scope

I recapped the electrolytics, re-assembled all, saw that it worked.

Only to find that this stupid fan would not fit anymore due to it being broken nd apparently its needed.

Make sure you understand how to remove the fan without the collet disintegrating.

The plastic fused together its been 36 years.

Guess I'm no expert at removing 36 year old fans, blame me....

Even the pros, rarely get it.

I contacted some people over there, a few of them have lathes/printers and made some.

Just widening my contacts now.

The pros do get it - and attempt to impart the information to those with less experience. But there's a proverb: "you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink".

I do have a spare such collet, but it is imperfect. I fear that if I sent it to you and you didn't like it, then I would be subjected to rude comments such as this:

I have successfully fixed mine with epoxy.
