FNIRSI CC/CV buck converter module: operational issues.
« on: July 03, 2021, 08:44:08 am »
Hello folks!
Sorry if this is either in wrong place, or has been discussed before.

So, bought mentioned FNIRSI (logo shown during boot) buck converters, and there are few operational issues which personally really bugs me. All appear to be software problems.
Anyone else having these problems, or did I get bad batch?

-CC setpoint value has around 50mA error compared to actual current.
-CV value can be adjusted to be OVER input voltage; I didn't buy boost, or buck boost.
-Increasing CV too high over input causes module to reset.
-CC/CV values can be changed only on one screen, where these setpoints are in smallest font. Not that big deal, but I don't care always about Ah, Wh, time, or temperature.
-Screen update rate is VERY slow, maybe 1 or 2Hz. Rotary encoder is also read with same speed.

There are at least few issues I noticed during operation.
Both analog/digital hobbyist, reparing stuff from time to time
