Power Supply: LeCroy T3PS43203P vs Instek GPP-4323?
« on: November 12, 2019, 06:55:26 am »
Here are the links,

1.)Lecory
2.)Instek

So is the only difference between these is that the Lecroy is a linear power supply, and the Instek is a switching power supply? They look identical.

The linear is showing up as $230 more, which I don't mind if it means there's less of a chance of me picking up high frequency noise.

Have more recent bench switching power supplies been designed to eliminate HF noise? Perhaps I should just play it safe and go with the more expensive option?

They are both exactly the same GW Instek PSU. LeCroy is rebadge...

I'm confused, I can't seem to find information about the GW Instek PSU being a linear power supply
