BCD-Parallel converter and Dual Channel Frequency Synthesizer Controller

Hi,

I recently acquired a Dual Channel Frequency Synthesizer ND-D 1000/1000 made by Schomandl in Germany. I have contacted Schomandl and they have no documentation available.

It has Frequency setting via two BCD-parallel ports. Looking on the Internet there doesn't seem to be an Ethernet or serial to BCD-parallel port cable available. Although I did find an ASCII-BCD-Parallel converter using an HP 59301A, none are available and there is no reason to believe it would work even if one was available. If someone could comment.

So my question is, does anyone know how to determine the proper codes to activate it and where I can find a converter?
