Definitely do wait for the temps to settle after the thermonuclear event.  :-DD
I told my friends I could teach them to be funny, but they all just laughed at me.

Don't see any mention of EMP shielding... I suspect yet another exaggerated claim...

And the light. 8) :-DMM  The flash would wash out the display.  And your vision.  And the heat and shock wave would probably disintegrate you.  Never mind about the light.

If you have a devious mind you realize that it is safe to use this meter "at the end of" a thermonuclear event.  After the blast and heat and radiation has all died down.  Those clever add writers led you on and it was fully proofed and endorsed by their lawyers.

On the subject of what the heck were they thinking....
Saw the below as part of the description for a Mestek clamp meter.

   "We use
     CORE
     farewell cow feces
     fast one step"

Can someone figure out what they wanted to say?

that the commonly used industry alternatives in that price range are cow shit and that it has fast sampling with one range that covers everything with increased resolution so you don't need to twist a knob to get from 1 amp to 2 amps full scale?

like a good meter might have a 100V range, a 1000V range *unless its specialized*, where a cheap meter will some how reduce costs by having a 15V range, a 30V range, a 60V range and so on, because the cost of the mechanical switch and 500 voltage dividers, board area and solder joints and inspections is some how less then a solid high range ADC. (scary). Maybe they save on LCD's too because they only need 3 digits rather then 4-5. Of course it drives you insane with OL or 0.03 all the time. Those cheap multimeters are as friendly to use as a fucking null voltage comparator.

Someone couldn't figure out the proper idiom, which is "no BS".   :-DD

maybe they’re just not interested in English-speaking customers
There are more Chinese speakers  than all English and Spanish speakers in the world

I don't get these smart ass flippant remarks at all. Exactly what point you are trying to make here and why you think it is relevant?

If I'm selling my product to an English speaking user base, my manual needs to be in English. Likewise, if I'm selling the product to a french speaking user base I will have the manual in french. It's not a question of how many of any national language but where is my product being marketed. Why do you think companies publish multiple versions of their manuals? - Because they don't have the population censers at hand and could not figure out what language it was this week?

It's pretty simple to understand the concept I would have though of writing manuals in the language relevant to the intended user base. The question comes down to how much time and effort a manufacture is willing to invest within a region and poor translations are not a good reflection on the manufacture in that region.
