Fluke 8505A rear analog connector specs?
« on: December 28, 2023, 12:43:24 am »
I am looking for a proper mating connector so I can make use of the rear analog inputs on my Fluke 8505A.
Anyone have the dimensional specs for this strange connector, or know its manufacture or part number?
Hopefully still some company still producing them.

Hi all,

Just rummaging through eevblog re Fluke 8505 and found a question I could actually answer!

The rear panel input socket is a 516 series 20 pin female connector made by EDAC.

The mating plug is available as a 20 pin housing with the screwlocks, solder pins and the connector shell are seperate items.

20 pin body : EDAC 516-020-000-302

solder pins : 516-290-500

plastic shell : 516-230-520

metal shell : 516-230-620

Regards,

Waz
