Rigol 2000 series remote control
« on: February 15, 2014, 09:30:57 am »
Hi,

I installed the software from the CD and I expected some basic remote control of the oscilloscope by LAN or USB. What I find is just an information about the scope. The web interface is only informative. The Ultra Sigma or whatever it's name is, is just a base for other software and the only software that came with the scope is trial. What? I get remote control even with cheap scopes.

So my question is: Are out there any decent programs to do basic control of the scope and capture screens. My computer is a bit far from the work bench and it is nice that the scope has LAN, but lack of software ... or I didn't search enough?

I just checked it. It's a nice tool, but it's mostly for viewing of records and does not feature remote control. You still need to have access to the scope. But it's useful - I like it.
