Anyone familiar with the EMCO OSC-10T scope?
« on: September 28, 2024, 08:58:55 pm »
I picked this up earlier today for a few bucks at a garage sale.  Turns on and appears to function, but I am trying to find out more about it, and if possible find a manual for it.  Google searches haven't turned anything up.  Anyone familiar with these?

Apparently, manuals for that specific kind of oscilloscope are very scarce in general. I would suggest contacting EMCO directly for any manuals they may have in their archives or even for general information on the device itself.

It could possibly be rebadged.
If you open it, you may find some clues about who made it.

Well, at first I didn't think there was any clues.  The PCB says "Oscilloscope 460 S" on it.  At first that turned up some Eico models that didn't resemble this at all, but then this page popped up

https://www.radiomuseum.org/r/eico_oscilloscope_460s.html

Now the issue there is that when I search for EICO 460S, that is the only one that comes up that resembles this, and the manuals that I find appear to be for older tube versions.
